Discipline gets mistaken for cruelty...usually by people who’ve never had to carry it for real.
They think it’s about grinding, punishing, denying, breaking.
But the point of discipline isn’t to hurt yourself.
It’s to clear a path.
To cut through the noise.
To move in the direction you’ve chosen instead of getting pulled by every urge, mood, or fear.
You don’t need to be brutal to be disciplined.
You need to be honest.
What are you aiming at?
What are you doing that gets in the way?
When you see those answers clearly…you don’t need to scream at yourself to act differently.
You just do.
Discipline is clarity in motion.
